Step 1 - Create new account
To register on the site click on Create new account here or in the User Profile box on the Home page.
Step 2 - Submit your account information
Create a unique username for yourself and add your email address, country and name.
To complete the registration click on Create a new account. You will see a message saying that your password and further instructions have been sent to your e-mail address.
Step 3 - Access your e-mail with password and further instructions
Open the e-mail sent from teachingenglish@britishcouncil.org with the subject Account details for username at Teaching English. Note: Some webmail services may move the email to a bulk/junk mail folder and you may need to check there.
You now have 2 options:
Option 1
You can use the password suggested in the email to log in to the website.
In the User Profile box on the Home page, enter your Username and the suggested Password and click on Log in.
Option 2
Click on the one-time login link.
This takes you to your Account settings page where you can change your password. You can also change other settings here, such as upload a picture for yourself, add a signature for your comments.
Click on Submit once you have finished making changes.
Next time you come to the site go to the User Profile box on the Home page, enter your Username and the suggested Password and click on Log in.
