I'm up with the builders! So - what sentences can I make with today's learnit words?

So the challenge is this: Can I create an interesting, funny & informative little post using my learnit words today?

My words to learn today are: allow down team quick drive sister farm then pound should.

A sentence containing these words:

If she gave me a pound, then should we allow my sister to have a quick drive down to the farm?

What could be the context? Why would I demand a pound (British currency) to let my sister go to the farm? Why would it be a quick drive?

Now, the language I am learning is Czech, which behaves quite differently to English.   I will ask a friend to make a Czech translation.

In the next few days we are altering Learnit so that all 13,000 users have the same word list. This means that other teachers and content providers can use the list to create content for their students.  The word lists will be available to newspapers for a small fee - so that they can publish the daily word lists for English learners in their English language sections.

Kdyz mi da libru, povolime me sestre, aby zajela na farmu?

As you can see, the sentence structure is very different. This is why the 'write' part of the learnit widget is important - so we can see words used in context. Most learners realise that you can't just translate a sentence word for word - but I'm constantly amazed by the number of very expensive computer programs which do exactly this - with awful results.
