This is just to say I am really looking forward to meeting and discussing with you all on the net during this month.
I'm really a teacher and methodologist at heart so every day I'm going to try and give you a new teaching idea, just to encourage you to check in regularly. October has 31 days starting tomorrow. Let's start exchanging teaching ideas about culture and remember the four key things we can exchange on:
Concepts (theory)
Curriculum
Methodology
Assessment

Dear Barry:
I am a Cuban English Teacher who are always trying to get in touch with colleagues around the world with the objective of exchanging ideas on teaching, learning about what others are doing, asking for help, collaboration and suggestions for our projects, and showing the great effort Cuban Teachers have to make to innovate and update our English Teaching Programs. It is an enormous pleasure to have you as a Guest Contributor and I wish I can interact with you exchanging ideas on Methodology mainly on aspects related to strategies for incentivating our students to a more autonomous way of learning.

Hi Tania,
Great to hear from you. For years now I have had the enormous pleasure of working with teachers from Cuba who are doing their MA's in London and will have my first opportunity to visit Cuba in December where I will be the plenary speaker at GELI.
The organisers have asked me talk about video and of course video, if you have access to it is a great way to watch culture in action.
See my blog 9.
Keep in touch.
Regards
Barry
